#Cakes ... All this “biological & organic” means no fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, or pesticides in general on these plants and animals we domesticated thousands of years ago… no antibiotics, hydrocarbons, dioxins, or hundreds of other chemical hazards in our daily meals and food… This saves and protects our precious human cells… billions of them! But “ecological” production seems to refer to processes where the environment is not polluted by plastics, pesticides, hydrocarbons, heavy metals, and hundreds of harmful substances… deleterious to fauna, flora, soils, waters, and air…So (sorry for such a long post about just 2 cakes!)
The Bread Pudding on the right in this photo is made with recycled bread every day in our kitchen & workshop atelier… food lab…It does not contain organic or biological ingredients, but it IS ecological because we reuse and recycle materials, thereby saving waste, energy, GHG emissions, etc. Capito? When a food or process is 99% organic and biological, it can also be called ecological…
but not all ecologically produced food is organic or biological. Galimatías?? Yes!To add more confusion, these terms can change meaning between languages and cultures… France, United States, Italy, Japan…That’s why we name our Bread Pudding #Circulars4Future in honour of one of the greatest worldwide experts I know on #CircularEconomy… Dr. Sandra Guevara…I will ask her to organise a friendly open workshop here in Pamplona on the epistemology, etymology, semantics, philosophy, ethics, and scientific nomenclature of these matters… so that planet Earth can finally have common knowledge to better educate people about BioEcOrganic food, water, medicines, textiles…
